| I love the colors in that photo. It is taken at the National Park, Thingvellir in Iceland on 30.December 2008, just before three a clock in the afternoon. The day is extremely short that time of the year in Iceland and dusk was coming fast. I was mesmerized by the light and the stillness of the Thingvellir lake. |

| I am a social educator living in South Iceland in a wonderful town called Hveragerdi. It is a geothermal town with numerous hot springs both in the heart of the town, as well as on the mountainside above and in the valleys that cut into the mountains. Many of my photographs are taken on the slope of the mountain close to town. There is a big geothermal area that appeared after a big earthquake on 29th of May 2008. This area had been dormant for decades. I may later on upload few photos of my paintings, but till then it's all photography. |
