My Bio
I am a social educator living in South Iceland in a small town called Hveragerdi. It is a geothermal town with numerous hot springs both at the heart of the town, as well as on the mountainside above and in the valleys that cut into the mountains.
Many of my photographs are taken on the slope of the mountain just above my town. Up there is a large geothermal area that reappeared after a big earthquake on 29th of May 2008. This area had been dormant for decades.

I went to see the large Norwegian vikingship, Dragon Harald Hairfair, as it rested in Reykjavik harbour, on it's way to America.

As the sun strives to stay a bit longer every day on the northern sky, I feel my spirits lifting, in spite of my ever so empty purse.
I know this is a situation all too many have in common with me. But, we must not sink into the dark abyss of depression. We must not give way to anxiety and despair. It will not help us.
What we need to do is to find ways to enjoy things that can't be bought. Family, friends, walks and pets. I love to play with my little inexpensive camera and toy with the results on my computer.
